What is Camp Mode?

The Mahindra the XEV 9e, XEV 9S and the BE 6 are advanced electric SUVs designed to offer a smarter, safer, and more connected driving experience.

Camp Mode lets you relax inside your vehicle while it maintains your preferred cabin temperature and reduces power usage from other systems. This helps you stay comfortable without impacting your driving range significantly.

Note: Walk Away Lock will not work while Camp Mode is active, even if you leave the vehicle with the key.

Step by Step: How to Turn on Camp Mode

Step 1: Tap the Fan icon to open climate controls.

Step 2: Go to the Smart tab.

Step 3: Select Camp Mode.

Step 4: Set your preferred cabin temperature.

Step 5: Confirm to activate.

Step 6: Camp Mode is now active.

When should you use it?

During road trips or long breaks
While waiting inside the vehicle
At charging stops
For a relaxed, climate-controlled cabin without running full systems
